What Does Accreditation Advisory Committee Do?

The ISSSP Accreditation Advisory Committee (Committee) is made up of ISSSP member volunteers. These individuals were chosen based on their knowledge of Six Sigma as active Master Black Belts working for an organization in a Operational Excellence capacity. None of the members work for a training organization to avoid any conflicts of interest. The Accreditation Advisory Committee consists of four ISSSP members, who have worked together to create the Minimum ATO Requirements that Six Sigma training organizations must meet to be considered. In addition, the Accreditation Advisory Committee has chosen to allow any Six Sigma BOK to be used, as long as it meets the minimum requirements set forth by the Committee and approved by the Board of Directors. In addition, the Committee has developed a Days Equivalent that Six Sigma training organizations must use as an ISSSP Accredited Training Organization (ATO). In order to apply to be an ATO, you must be an organizational member of ISSSP.
